Sport Diving Program: U.S. and its Territories

We will mail an air sampling kit to you, and after sampling the system, you will return the entire kit to us. We analyze most samples within 24 hours. The report is Faxed and or E-mailed the same day of completion. A hard copy is then mailed to you. If a sample fails, we will tell you why, offer suggestions, and send another air kit after repairs have been made. The repeat analysis is free; you only pay for the freight.

Our Sport Diving /Oxygen Compatible Air Sampling Kit

  • Our Sport Diving Kit is capable of sampling high pressure as well as low pressure SCUBA and SCBA filling systems as well as OCA (Oxygen Compatible Air) systems.
  • The kit is compact, lightweight, unbreakable and very simple to operate. It contains no glass (with the exception of a dragger tube) and no critical inlet orifices or replaceable discs to interfere with sampling contaminants at the compressor or at the charging whips.
  • Our sub-micron depth filters are contained in a clear rugged housing in order to allow instant examination. If you have a serious Oil Mist + Particulate problem, you will be able to recognize it and begin repairs immediately without waiting for our formal report. The appearance of our filter after sampling is a crucial indicator, and you should always examine it.
  • Each of our sampling kits are tested for cleanliness before they are packaged in re-sealable bags and sent out. We do this because all of our Sport kits can sample Oxygen Compatible Air for use with Nitrox.
  • The bulk air sample is obtained in our compact lightweight container which meets DOT as well as IATA criteria for shipping on all aircraft.
  • Although operation of the kit is obvious from the design, we include simple color-coded and numbered instructions along with actual photographs.
  • We pay all round trip freight for all US territories and domestic locations. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico may be subject to additional shipping costs.
  • After sampling, you will send the entire kit back to our lab for analysis and refurbishing.  For some clients in other countries, owning the air sampling kit is a cost effective way to reduce shipping costs – as well as taxes and custom fees – to the bare minimum.  This is a new optional program.  (See also Instant Air Analysis test kit.)

The Analysis and Report

Our report is complete, easy to read and impressive; your first report includes a unique display frame which is rugged and is easy to update with subsequent reports.  QA/QC is performed in each run, and the results are always available upon request. Costs Per Sample (Credit Card or Prepayment basis)

Air analysis is not just another task; it is done for important reasons. Saving a few dollars is not worth the gamble if you use a kit that is unlikely to find all the contaminants. The service we provide DOES NOT require that you pay for a year in advance, purchase the kit, or sign a contract. What this means is there is nothing to inventory, worry about loosing, getting damaged or calibrating. All you pay for is the analysis, which you can pay for by credit card or a check each quarter.
